西元 1992 年，Lancaster 先生察覺到市場對軟體全球化的高水準服務的需求，因而創立了 SDL。 他是 LISA - Localization Industry Standards Association (本地化產業標準協會) 的創辦監事之一，目前仍活躍於其中。

Lancaster 先生擁有電氣與電子工程之英國國家高等技術學校畢業文憑 (HND)。 曾於 Satchwell Control Systems 擔任設計工程師一職； 而後至 Lotus Development Corporation 擔任專案經理；然後於 Ashton-Tate 擔任國際發展部門主管。 目前他負責 SDL 的策略性發展。

Mr. Hunter is a Chartered Management Accountant and joined SDL in September 2008. Prior to this he held a number of senior financial and management positions in Europe, Asia and the US within the ICI group. Most recently he was the Chief Financial Officer of ICI Paints, a leading global decorative business.

Mr. Hunter's previous roles have embraced evolving global organisations where the emphasis has been on developing structure and systems, with strong support to commercial operations and the strategic direction of the business.

Keith Mills 先生於 1994 年加入 SDL。 他曾於 Lotus Corporation 擔任高階主管，專門負責軟體本地化程序，接著又到 Ashton-Tate 負責管理國際化軟體翻譯部門。 在加入 SDL 之前， Mills 先生曾是關聯式資料庫專門企業─Informix Inc. 的軟體本地化工程部經理。 Mills 負責 SDL 全面技術組合。

Lancaster 女士是經驗豐富的軟體工程師，在 1990 年建立 IT 訓練諮詢公司前，曾在 Lotus Development 擔任資深支援分析師一職。

她在 1993 年加入 SDL，負責跨部門的營運、管理與策略維持，並管理集團的海外營運。

Gordon 先生是一名合格會計師，於 1998 年加入 SDL 工作團隊。 他在 Arthur Andersen 有 13 年的工作經驗，專長是公司財務與創業投資；在 Berisford plc 工作 10 年，最後 3 年是美國分部的財務長。

Campbell 先生曾任 TRADOS, Inc. 執行長，自 SDL 收購 TRADOS, Inc. 後，即轉而擔任 SDL 董事會的非常務董事。  他在企業軟體的銷售上非常專業，且十分瞭解美國市場。 

此外，Campbell 先生 在美國金融市場以及收購與併購方面，也擁有多年的經驗。  在進入 TRADOS 之前，他曾任 iManage 公司營運長；iManage 公司是 NASDAQ 的公開上市交易公司。  任職期間，他帶領該公司在收益、利潤與股東價值上獲得大幅成長，促成 Interwoven 收購 iManage。

Batterham 先生為會計師，在 IT 產業有相當豐富的經驗。

除了在 Arthur Andersen 的工作經歷外，Batterham 先生亦曾服務於各大企業，並於 1993 年加入 Unipalm Group plc (目前為 UUNET)，擔任集團財務長一職。 他曾參與 Unipalm 在倫敦証券交易所的發行上市，並在 Worldcom 收購 UUNET 後，成為國際發展部門主管。 他於 1999 年 10 月 15 日加入 SDL 董事會。
